QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducting tests on releases — from specification through to production.

• Managing and expanding test cases — creating and modifying cases to ensure that regression testing remains up-to-date.

• Analyzing and communicating — you are responsible for approving releases, providing clear updates on testing status, identifying blockers, and assessing platform readiness.

• Enhancing tools and automation — your role goes beyond testing; you work on improving our testing processes: automating routine tasks, integrating AI into daily operations, and contributing to internal tools and automated tests.

• On-call responsibilities — regularly participating in the QA on-call rotation to address user issues and incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in manual testing: mobile applications (iOS / Android) and backend solutions.

• Ideally, 1+ years of experience, but genuine interest and a keen eye for detail are more important than the number of years.

• Familiarity with development processes: you comprehend Scrum / Kanban and understand the role of testing within the lifecycle of a feature.

• Systems thinking approach in testing.

• Proficiency with the QA toolkit: Task management (Asana or similar), Documentation (Confluence or similar), Traffic analysis and network troubleshooting (Charles / Fiddler / Proxyman), App logs and the ability to identify key information within them.

• Understanding of HTTP protocols and API requests.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work in an asynchronous environment.

• Experience with AI and automation tools.
