This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of document provisioning and/or remediation plans assigned, pinpointing items that need clarification.
• Assess process remediations submitted by servicing business units to determine if the plan meets compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation of processes, reports, applications, and procedures in accordance with departmental policies.
• Execute testing for internal and external low/medium risk findings to guarantee effective plan implementation and resolution remediation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established testing timelines and standards.
• Identify exceptions based on testing outcomes and inform department management of any observations that fall outside the testing scope but necessitate action.
• Secure approval for testing as outlined by department procedures or as directed by management.
• Conduct loan data analysis to validate and communicate test results to the servicing business unit as directed by department management.
• Perform recurring testing as assigned.
• Investigate external or internal findings, propose initial responses to business units, and obtain approval for any modifications made to ensure timely submission of responses to internal and external parties.
• Utilize SharePoint and other systems to track all assignments and update their status accordingly.
• Raise issues of risk concern with management while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
• Adhere to departmental procedures for shared mailbox usage.
• Carry out assigned compliance testing and promptly escalate any compliance concerns.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in mortgage/loan servicing.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in quality data analysis, testing, and reporting.
• Familiarity with mortgage industry terminology, including knowledge of key servicing and default timelines.
• Proficient in utilizing Loan Servicing technology for research, validation, and information gathering.
• Skilled in MS Office with basic proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaborative, and technical abilities.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Capability to adapt to changes and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to comprehend, retain, and communicate routine factual information.
