
Guidewire QA Lead – P&C Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Work collaboratively with client QA teams, developers, and offshore teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and ensure thorough testing.
• Create and implement test cases based on business requirements and system specifications, addressing intricate rules and workflows.
• Provide accurate effort estimates for manual testing activities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance testing processes, boost quality, and facilitate continuous delivery.
• Spearhead initiatives to improve testing strategies, mentor junior QA team members, and ensure adherence to industry best practices in Guidewire Policy systems and Property & Casualty insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 8+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance and Guidewire PolicyCenter, with a minimum of 5+ years in Commercial Lines.
• Proficient in Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Contact Manager, including configuration, product model forms, rules, and rating.
• Solid experience in both manual and automation testing for Guidewire Cloud projects (upgrades and implementations).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, or Rally.
• Familiarity with claims creation, First Notice of Loss (FNOL), reserves, checks, and payment transactions.
• Guidewire Analyst Associate certification; ISTQB or Agile certifications are preferred.
• Capability to lead, take initiative, and direct teams within onsite-offshore delivery models.
