This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide regression testing support for existing websites.
• Accountable for developing a comprehensive end-to-end test plan for projects; executing the plan and overseeing all activities to ensure objectives are achieved and the solution functions as intended.
• The application must be evaluated for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other legacy and/or external systems.
• Ensure that every phase and feature of the software solution undergoes testing, identifying and resolving any potential issues prior to the product launch.
• Utilize existing frameworks and tools to create and run automated test scripts.
• Update and maintain automation scripts as necessary in response to evolving requirements.
• Support the QA Automation Engineer by mentoring QA team members in test automation initiatives.
• Analyze requirements to generate both manual and automated test cases.
• Capable of switching between automation and manual testing tasks as required.
• Review bug fixes and minor system enhancements to confirm expected outcomes are achieved.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide ongoing iterative feedback.
• Set estimates and expectations for task completion while monitoring adherence to deadlines.
• Perform other support tasks as needed.
• Over 5 years of practical QA experience.
• More than 3 years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Software and processes.
• Direct experience testing RESTful APIs and utilizing REST assured libraries.
• Proficient in automated script design, coding, debugging, and maintenance.
• Experience with Java programming.
• Skilled in Selenium and TestNG.
• Basic foundational knowledge of software design, development, and architecture.
• Advanced understanding of Web Standards, Accessibility Standards, and browser compatibility.
• Insight into the significance of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI).
• Experience working under deadline-driven conditions.
• Self-driven, organized, logical, and detail-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities, from small testing initiatives to large-scale project testing.
• Proficient in using version control systems (Git).
• Comfortable operating within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Enthusiastic about emerging technologies and software.
• Understanding of business processes.
• Knowledge and experience in the technical aspects of the software solutions being tested.
• Familiarity with MySQL.
• Proficient in CSS.
• Knowledgeable in HTML5.
• Experienced with JavaScript.
• Understanding of Web Services, XML, JSON.
• Experienced in API integration (SOAP UI, POSTMAN, etc).
