Quality Analyst – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct software testing, including regression, exploratory, and functional testing.

• Develop and implement test cases, documenting evidence and reporting findings.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects (bugs) until they are resolved.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of automated tests, preferably using Cypress or Playwright.

• Ensure that all deliveries adhere to established quality standards.

• Actively engage in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with development, product, and other teams to uphold quality assurance.

• Provide support for test data and environment setup as needed.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes.

• Understanding of software testing principles and essentials.

• Familiarity with various test types, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

• Basic knowledge of test automation practices.

• Experience with Cypress or Playwright at a junior or intermediate level.

• Fundamental programming logic skills.

• Basic understanding of databases, particularly SQL for simple queries.

• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
