Quality Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform data analysis tasks for Trillium Health Resources.

• Generate reports that adhere to DMH and DMA contract stipulations, NCQA accreditation, HEDIS reporting, along with other internal and external reporting requirements.

• Assist with the daily operations of the Quality Management Department, which includes committee support, data handling, reporting, training, HEDIS measures, and national accreditation efforts.

• Create analytical reports by analyzing data, synthesizing information, summarizing findings, and interpreting results.

• Detect patterns and trends within data sets.

• Ensure timely submission of reports according to deadlines.

• Facilitate scheduled external and internal reporting.

• Present report findings in a user-friendly manner that is accessible to staff, consumers, and community members.

• Include relevant data-source references to allow for report replication.

• Analyze and report on statistical data concerning populations, disabilities, and cultural factors.

• Incorporate physical health and pharmacy data into the QM/QIC process.

• Recognize significant issues that may affect the agency.

• Aid in developing HEDIS-oriented plans to ensure compliance with national accreditation standards.

• Execute organizational improvements to guarantee efficient and high-quality care.

• Manage sensitive, complex, and confidential information with care and professionalism.

• Travel within the designated catchment area as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED combined with six (6) years of experience in data analysis, reporting, collection, or database usage; OR an Associate’s degree with four (4) years of experience in these domains; OR a Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience in these areas; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum required experience under the alternatives: two (2) years.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Residency in North Carolina is required.

• Ability to travel within the catchment area as necessary.

• A preferred four-year degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a Human Service field such as Psychology or Social Work.

• Preferred experience in quality improvement initiatives and HEDIS.

• Preferred two to four years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, large data sets, relational databases, and Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and graphs.

• Preferred certifications such as CSPA, Certified Machine Learning – Specialty (AWS), Predictive Analytics Certificate (SOA), and/or CAHIMS, ITIL v3, or equivalent.

• Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
