Quality Analyst – Certified Professional Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform regular and objective quality assessments and audits of behavioral health coding, documentation, and billing submissions.

• Detect trends, systemic issues, and specific coding mistakes.

• Provide clear, actionable, and constructive feedback to Coding Teammates.

• Collaborate with leadership to revise auditing grids, identify training needs, and enhance workflows.

• Protect patient information by ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and internal security protocols.

• Maintain positive working relationships with external partners and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification is mandatory.

• At least 1 year of experience in Medical Billing and Coding.

• Experience in a Quality Assurance, Auditing, or Senior Coder position is essential.

• Practical experience in Behavioral Health/Mental Health coding and billing is strongly preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and E/M leveling tools is required.
