Qualitative Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create methodologies for qualitative research studies

• Conduct qualitative data gathering and analysis

• Analyze interview and focus group transcripts using established codebooks and a structured inter-rater process

• Review and validate transcripts against original audio recordings, ensuring at least 20% verification of transcripts

• Oversee a rolling coding pipeline that aligns with quarterly site submissions

• Integrate qualitative themes with site-level quantitative data

• Prepare site-specific summaries, preliminary findings, tables, figures, and graphics in formats requested by the CDC

• Assist in the refinement of codebooks and documentation of inter-rater reliability

• Create content and case study resources for a replication toolkit

• Aid in the construction of de-identified, analysis-ready datasets alongside the Data Manager

• Participate in proposal development, client interaction, and methodological planning

• Deliver high-quality, client-ready technical outputs

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and retain the necessary customer clearance

• Proven experience in coding qualitative data

• Proficient in qualitative analysis software such as NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS.ti, or Dedoose

• Experience in transcript quality control and verification against audio sources

• Master’s degree with a minimum of five (5+) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent

• Preferred familiarity with mixed-methods integration

• Preferred knowledge of behavioral health or overdose-related subjects
