Qt/QML Software Engineer, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and create advanced human-machine interfaces for in-vehicle infotainment systems, Industry 4.0 solutions, and various other applications.

• Develop commercial cross-platform QML applications.

• Create graphical user interfaces utilizing Qt.

• Contribute to software architecture and design pattern development.

• Engage in version control, code review, and integration processes.

• Collaborate closely with The Qt Company’s R&D teams.

• Participate in Spyrosoft R&D initiatives.

• Develop Qt applications for smart home devices, automotive solutions, and surgical support software.

• Share expertise in HMI with fellow team members.

• Deliver presentations at events such as QtWS and conduct training for external organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• At least 1 year of commercial experience in creating cross-platform QML applications.

• Proficiency in developing Qt-based graphical user interfaces.

• Strong skills in C++ programming, including modern C++ standards.

• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.

• Familiarity with version control systems, code review processes, and integration tools.

• Proficient in English at C1 level, both written and spoken.

• Proficient in French at C1 level, both written and spoken.

• Experience with AI tools in daily workflows is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Proof of Concept is advantageous.

• Experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Docker is desirable.

• Familiarity with Python programming is a plus.

• Experience contributing to open source projects is a bonus.
