Qt/QML Software Engineer, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create innovative human-machine interfaces.

• Develop HMI solutions tailored for in-vehicle infotainment systems.

• Create solutions applicable to Industry 4.0 initiatives and other sectors.

• Build cross-platform applications using Qt/QML.

• Develop graphical user interfaces based on Qt.

• Contribute to decisions regarding software architecture and design patterns.

• Utilize version control, code review, and integration tools effectively.

• Collaborate closely with the R&D departments at The Qt Company.

• Engage in Spyrosoft R&D projects.

• Share knowledge and experience in HMI with team members.

• Potentially deliver presentations at QtWS and training sessions for external organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in French.

• Proficient in QML.

• Experience with Qt.

• Strong skills in C++.

• English proficiency at C1 level.

• French proficiency at C1 level.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial experience in developing cross-platform QML applications.

• Experience in creating Qt-based GUIs.

• Strong programming skills in modern C++.

• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.

• Familiarity with tools for version control, code review, and integration.

• Effective communicator in both written and spoken English.

• Effective communicator in both written and spoken French.

• Nice to have: experience using AI tools in a daily workflow.

• Nice to have: understanding of Agile methodology and Proof of Concept.

• Nice to have: experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto).

• Nice to have: knowledge of Docker.

• Nice to have: experience in Python programming.

• Nice to have: involvement in open source projects.
