This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Conduct reviews and inspections of digital pathology slide images in accordance with established quality criteria across non-clinical archives, Clinical, and GLP-regulated studies.
• Detect and flag any image quality issues for escalation to the core QC team.
• Keep precise QC records that comply with relevant procedures.
• Ensure that all inspection results are prepared for review and sign-off by the core QC team before finalization.
• Provide initial responses, triage, and resolution for standard queries through the case management ticket platform.
• Escalate complex, clinical, or unusual cases to the core internal Case Control team following established escalation protocols.
• Offer out-of-hours and weekend ticket support to minimize resolution times.
• Review AI-extracted clinical request card data, including demographics, clinical information, and specimen details, against source documents within the clinical information system.
• Correct any discrepancies where extracted data does not accurately represent the source document.
• Identify and escalate incomplete, ambiguous, illegible, or unusual request cards.
• Mark confirmed cases as complete and maintain a detailed activity log for audit purposes.
• Undergo cross-training in all three roles—QC Slide Inspection, Case Control, and Transcription and Verification—before working independently in any single function.
• Work flexibly across functions based on a dynamic allocation of tasks directed by the line manager at the start of each shift, depending on current queue volumes and operational priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is essential across all three functions.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; all communications, records, and escalations are conducted in English.
• Ability to work systematically according to defined procedures and quality standards.
• Familiarity with data entry, verification, and quality-checking processes.
• Comfortable working in clinical or regulated data environments, or a proven aptitude for rapid learning.
• Previous experience in digital pathology, medical imaging, or life sciences data processing is preferred.
• Experience in a GLP or GxP-regulated setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with clinical request card formats or medical record data is desirable.
• Experience with ticketing or case management systems, such as HubSpot or similar, is preferred.
