QA Testing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Execute quality assurance and testing for web and mobile applications.

• Perform both manual and automated testing procedures.

• Create test cases and develop comprehensive test plans.

• Conduct API validation utilizing various testing tools.

• Carry out functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Automate smoke and regression test scenarios effectively.

• Test mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Monitor defects and assess application crashes, data quality concerns, and defect patterns.

• Validate the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.

• Contribute to the successful release of high-quality applications within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.

• Practical experience with API testing using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.

• Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

• Strong understanding of test case design, test planning, and defect tracking methodologies.

• Experience with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Hands-on knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JIRA.

• Proven experience in automating smoke and regression test scenarios.

• Solid understanding of SQL and database validation techniques.

• Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards is advantageous.

• Experience in validating application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Ability to analyze application crashes, data quality issues, and defect trends effectively.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• ISTQB Certification is considered a plus.

• Experience with healthcare, enterprise, or regulated applications is preferred.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.

• Understanding of API automation and mobile automation best practices.
