QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Create test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.

• Strategize and perform functional testing.

• Conduct integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Identify, log, document, and monitor defects.

• Carry out retesting once fixes are applied.

• Generate and uphold documentation of test cycles.

• Assist in recognizing risks and impacts related to changes.

• Engage in refinement sessions and alignment meetings with business and technology teams.

• Promote the ongoing enhancement of quality processes and practices.

• Ensure traceability among requirements, test scenarios, test execution, and defects.

• Collaborate closely with the QA Lead and other team members to guarantee the quality of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.

• Proficiency in functional testing.

• Familiarity with developing test scenarios and test cases.

• Experience with integration and regression testing.

• Competence in logging and tracking bugs and defects.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Capability to analyze requirements and business rules.

• Strong organizational and test evidence documentation skills.

• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to collaborate with technical and business teams.

• Experience in the insurance sector (preferred).

• Knowledge of insurance market processes and products (preferred).

• Familiarity with insurance core systems (preferred).

• Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar (preferred).

• Understanding of SQL for data validation (preferred).

• Background in environments with multiple integrations (preferred).

• Knowledge of or experience with test automation (preferred).

• Experience in large-scale project environments (preferred).
