QA / Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing on new features prior to their release for both web and mobile applications.

• Take ownership of the release process by testing staging builds, executing the final quality gate, and facilitating quicker releases.

• Create risk-based test plans for essential telehealth workflows, user-facing experiences, privacy-sensitive functionalities, and significant production changes.

• Execute testing on Android mobile devices, including replicating and validating device-specific issues.

• Manage, track, and resolve bugs until closure, while effectively controlling the backlog.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test coverage and prioritize issues.

• Develop and sustain automated tests to enhance coverage and speed up regression testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in QA/software testing, preferably within a dynamic product environment.

• Proficiency in writing and enhancing test automation and test infrastructure.

• Experience utilizing AI coding agents like Claude Code or Codex to develop and refine automation.

• Practical experience with testing on Android devices.

• Comfortable executing end-to-end testing on web applications.

• Familiarity with development, staging, and production environments as well as release processes.

• Excellent skills in bug tracking, test case management, and triage.

• Highly organized and detail-focused, with the discernment to identify release-blocking issues versus minor ones.

• Capacity to independently drive quality while closely collaborating with engineering and product teams.

• Previous experience in healthcare or telehealth is advantageous.

• Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) is a plus.

• Experience in assisting a team towards a continuous release cycle is desirable.

• Required application assessment: two voice recordings of 60 seconds or less, submitted in MP3 format or via Vocaroo.

• Must provide a professional background overview highlighting QA/software testing experience.

• Must include an example of a tested web or mobile feature/workflow along with its key outcome.
