QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Oversee QA operations and establish testing methodologies.

• Supervise QA personnel and provide guidance to QA teams.

• Guarantee the delivery of high-quality, dependable, and secure applications.

• Develop and implement test plans, testing strategies, and test cases.

• Lead automation, performance, and quality enhancement projects.

• Perform manual, automated, end-to-end, mobile application, API, performance, and security testing.

• Assist with bug tracking, defect management, and test reporting.

• Collaborate in CI/CD, DevOps, cloud, and Agile/Scrum settings.

• Direct QA initiatives for applications at an enterprise scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Extensive experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android), including both native and hybrid applications.

• Practical experience in manual, automated, and end-to-end testing.

• Strong proficiency with automation tools like Appium and Selenium.

• Experience in creating and executing test plans, testing methodologies, and test cases.

• In-depth knowledge of QA principles, testing processes, and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with API testing and validation through tools such as Postman.

• Experience in performance testing utilizing JMeter.

• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing QA teams.

• Capability to guide teams in automation, performance, and quality enhancement projects.

• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps environments.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java or Python.

• Experience with bug tracking, defect management, and test reporting tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: ISTQB Certification.

• Preferred: Experience in security testing and application quality governance.

• Preferred: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Preferred: Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization and monitoring.

• Preferred: Experience in leading QA initiatives for enterprise-scale applications.
