This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Test Planning & Strategy: Establish test strategies, plans, and cases derived from both business and technical requirements. Recognize test scenarios for intricate workflows across various ServiceNow modules. Ensure comprehensive coverage throughout functional, regression, integration, and UAT cycles.
• Functional & End-to-End Testing: Assess configurations including forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies. Execute end-to-end testing across ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Request), CSM / RSM (case management, customer workflows), FSM (dispatch, scheduling, mobile workflows), and S2P (procurement lifecycle, supplier workflows).
• Automation Testing: Create and sustain automated test scripts. Spot opportunities to enhance automation coverage and minimize manual intervention. Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines when applicable.
• Integration & Data Validation: Evaluate integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware). Verify data transformations, migration accuracy, and data integrity. Conduct API testing utilizing tools like Postman or similar applications.
• Defect Management: Detect, log, track, and prioritize defects using standard tools. Collaborate closely with development teams to replicate and resolve issues. Perform root cause analysis and ensure resolution with quality validation.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams to clarify requirements. Aid in UAT cycles and business validation. Provide QA sign-off and report quality metrics.
• Quality Assurance Best Practices: Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and governance. Continuously enhance testing frameworks, methodologies, and coverage. Champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience in QA/testing within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Strong comprehension of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules.
• Practical experience in functional and regression testing of ServiceNow configurations (forms, workflows, scripts – from a testing perspective).
• API and integration testing experience (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-CSM, CIS-FSM, CIS-Sales) or equivalent Salesforce/Pega certifications (preferred).
• Experience with test automation tools (ATF in ServiceNow, Selenium, JUnit, etc.) (preferred).
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI testing approaches (validating chatbot workflows, AI predictions, explainability testing) (preferred).
• Understanding of compliance/regulatory testing (data privacy, audit, accessibility) (preferred).
• Experience in telecom, retail, or healthcare preferred.
