This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Validate asynchronous, event-driven pipelines from Airtable through AWS and Photoshop APIs to Frame.io.
• Verify idempotency, de-duplication, race-condition management, queue throttling, and duplicate webhook handling.
• Test recovery from network disruptions, expired tokens, corrupted or oversized media, missing manifest keys, and API service limitations.
• Confirm circuit breaker thresholds, queue pausing, slot release, and manual or administrative recovery processes.
• Design cache lifecycle assessments for reusable asset-level caches and isolated template-level manifests.
• Ensure that template timestamp modifications and asset re-uploads invalidate caches to avoid stale file delivery.
• Reconcile assets, folders, and version stacks, including filename, folder, collision, and upload-deletion edge scenarios.
• Validate AI cropping and graphical transformations across both human and non-human subjects, as well as landscape and portrait formats.
• Assess bounding-box and focal-point detection, cropping selections, and mask boundary preservation.
• Inspect typography, font substitutions, leading, wrapping, bold ranges, safe-zone margins, call-to-action bounds, disclaimers, and ratings bug placement.
• Document reproducible step-level defects in Jira Cloud with complete asset and log context provided.
• Evaluate results against acceptance criteria for Epics, Stories, and Bugs.
• Mid-to-senior level QA engineering experience related to digital media workflow engineering, ad-tech production pipelines, creative automation, or cloud-native integration QA.
• Strong skills in end-to-end troubleshooting, edge-case testing, state integrity, and data isolation.
• Practical knowledge of Airtable field types, formulas, automations, and trigger actions.
• Capability to validate status transitions of Airtable actions and automations.
• Experience in checking field hygiene, null and fallback values, Automation Version Stack ID tracking, and cache/allocation overrides.
• Strong practical understanding of Frame.io version stacking, Approved asset status hooks, share-link generation, and structural validation.
• Experience with API authentication, server-to-server (S2S) authentication, custom headers, and rate limiting.
• Conceptual knowledge of Photoshop artboards, smart objects, layer hierarchies, masks, text layers, typography, and bounds calculation.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop APIs and smart-object replacement mechanics.
• Ability to examine and validate PSD/PSB, JPG, PNG, and GIF outputs.
• Comfort with AWS services including SQS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Lambda, and S3.
• Ability to trace execution logs, correlation IDs, and failure payloads.
• Experience testing asynchronous and event-driven systems, including webhook de-duplication, idempotency, concurrency, throttling, resilience, circuit breakers, caching and invalidation, and synchronization edge cases.
• Understanding of bounding-box and focal-point detection, native cropping, Firefly Generative Expand, and mask boundaries.
• A keen eye for digital display production and design standards across various output formats and aspect ratios.
• Deep familiarity with Jira Cloud, including handling Epics, Stories, Bugs, acceptance criteria, and reproducible defect reporting.
• Preferred: familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, MoGRTs, Adobe Media Encoder, presets, video codecs, output formats, and resolutions.
• Competitive compensation.
• Flexible engagement models.
• Collaborative, remote-friendly culture.
• 100% remote work available for listed LATAM locations.
• Full-time hours as an independent contractor.
