QA Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to offer prompt and insightful feedback on testability and completeness.

• Develop comprehensive and well-organized test plans and test cases for DAM migration, content platforms, and integration workstreams.

• Execute test cases and clearly document results in a traceable manner.

• Identify, log, and monitor defects with meticulous documentation.

• Estimate, prioritize, and manage testing activities throughout sprint cycles.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, creative, and delivery teams to clarify requirements prior to the commencement of testing.

• Monitor quality metrics and contribute to sprint retrospectives with QA insights.

• Keep abreast of testing tools and strategies pertinent to CMS and DAM platform operations.

• Work closely with Project Managers and Developers to comprehend requirements, execute test cases, and identify defects before they impact the client.

• Assist with DAM migration and platform implementation tasks, validating content, assets, and integrations prior to release.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a QA Analyst or QA Engineer position within digital platform or web development projects.

• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and thorough test plans and test cases.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies; comfortable participating in sprint ceremonies.

• Experience utilizing defect tracking tools such as Jira.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Adobe Asset Manager or Adobe Experience Manager is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Experience with any DAM or CMS platform is highly regarded.

• Background in performance or security testing is a plus.
