QA Engineer – ClimateTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Define, manage, and enhance QA and release management processes.

• Create and sustain lightweight, scalable manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Organize and oversee testing initiatives across various cross-functional teams.

• Ensure adherence to quality gates while maintaining workflow efficiency.

• Take charge of release planning to guarantee smooth and predictable rollouts.

• Monitor production issues and enhance observability and response procedures.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure stable, thoroughly tested releases that meet established standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA, Release Management, or related roles.

• Experience in a SaaS or B2B setting.

• Proficient in designing and executing both manual and automated testing workflows.

• Strong understanding of release orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and managing staged deployments.

• Ability to plan and document processes with structure, clarity, and accuracy.

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams, specifically with product and engineering.

• Proactive approach; capable of identifying risks early, proposing process enhancements, and advocating for users.

• Strong and effective communication skills, including issue reporting and test plan documentation.

• Passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate technology.

• Enthusiastic about joining a diverse and international team based in Munich.
