QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Comprehend requirements and convert them into detailed test plans and test cases

• Ensure traceability of requirements

• Execute test cases, which includes regression testing

• Record testing outcomes and track testing progress

• Document, monitor, and verify resolution of software defects in collaboration with Engineering

• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and address testing-related inquiries

• Work alongside engineers to analyze defects and identify solutions

• Validate data across various applications, APIs, databases, and data pipelines

• Develop and document testing processes, standards, and best practices

• Participate in the continuous enhancement of testing processes and data quality

• Utilize AI tools to enhance automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage

• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and dependable data

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance

• Practical experience with test automation utilizing Playwright and/or Cypress

• Proficient SQL skills and experience in validating data within databases

• Background in testing APIs and data-driven applications

• Knowledge of data quality, consistency, and integrity

• Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with cloud technologies is advantageous

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High attention to detail

• Capability to document, troubleshoot, and communicate defects and test results

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple testing projects

• Proactive attitude and ability to foresee potential risks

• Interest and experience in using AI tools to enhance automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• Proficiency in English is required
