QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of mobile applications for iOS and Android on actual devices.

• Assess photo capture, image quality, and visual-data workflows related to 3D modeling.

• Ensure comprehensive product functionality and usability by acting as a user advocate.

• Detect functional, visual, and edge-case issues across various environments.

• Examine defects utilizing logs, tools, and reproducible scenarios in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Keep test cases and scenarios in line with project requirements.

• Assist in test planning and coverage efforts, focusing on regression scope and high-risk areas.

• Aid in automation through BDD methodologies such as Gherkin and third-party testing platforms like Mobot.

• Implement risk-based testing and shift-left strategies to prioritize testing, clarify specifications, and mitigate defects early.

• Familiarity with test documentation, including test cases and scenarios.

• Understanding of test planning and coverage, encompassing regression scope and high-risk areas.

• Knowledge of BDD practices, such as Gherkin.

• Experience with third-party testing services, like Mobot.

• Availability to work from 1pm to 10pm EET, with an eight-hour workday including a lunch break.
