QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Primarily accountable for conducting Quality Assurance evaluations and regular inspections of the company's web and mobile applications.

• Strategize, develop, execute, and oversee QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Engage in requirements analysis and meticulously craft test cases.

• Document defects and issues with comprehensive step-by-step details.

• Assist in resolving production problems by determining root causes.

• Respond promptly to ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Business.

• Compile regression reports showcasing detailed findings, bug reports, and test references.

• Offer feedback and engage with colleagues on strategies for improvement and solutions.

• Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance lead to ensure thorough testing coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance.

• Familiarity with automation is a plus (coding experience is not required but should not be avoided).

• Experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle for both Mobile and Web platforms.

• Good grasp of agile methodologies with practical experience in an agile environment.

• Capability to work independently with a high level of initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

• Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
