QA Engineer, AI – Personalisation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of functional testing for platform products, encompassing test planning, design, execution, and quality assurance for releases.

• Conduct API testing while comprehending the complete service invocation flow, including upstream and downstream dependencies across intricate backend chains.

• Develop and implement end-to-end test scenarios that address frontend, backend, strategy, and algorithm-driven interactions.

• Ensure the validation of personalized user experiences, maintaining accuracy and consistency across various user segments, feature exposure, UI variations, and content delivery.

• Enhance and expand test coverage, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes for sophisticated platform capabilities.

• Investigate and promote the integration of AI in testing, which includes: - AI-assisted test case generation and coverage enhancement - AI-driven end-to-end automation testing - Intelligent strategies to boost testing efficiency in complex scenarios.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Algorithm, and Strategy teams to identify issues, facilitate root cause analysis, and guarantee quality closure.

• Continuously refine testing methodologies and suggest innovative quality solutions for changing business scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in QA/software testing, ideally with a focus on platform product testing.

• Strong understanding of functional testing and API testing methodologies, capable of independently designing and executing test cases.

• Fundamental knowledge of backend infrastructure and service interaction flows; able to grasp the entire calling process instead of just testing isolated APIs.

• A robust end-to-end testing mindset, with the capability to validate scenarios that involve frontend/backend interactions, dynamic configurations, strategy execution, and algorithm-driven logic.

• Understanding the basics of test automation and familiarity with prevalent testing frameworks and automation concepts.

• Interest or familiarity with AI-driven testing, including the application of AI for test case coverage, automation, and quality analysis.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams in complex environments.

• An innovative mindset with a readiness to explore new testing methods, tools, and quality assurance strategies.
