QA Automation Lead Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement automation testing strategies across various products and projects.

• Set up automation standards, best practices, and governance for enterprise-level quality engineering.

• Promote the adoption of automation within Agile teams and delivery organizations.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and release speed through automation.

• Act as the subject matter expert on test automation architecture and tools.

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.

• Ensure frameworks accommodate multiple environments, data-driven testing, reporting, and CI/CD execution.

• Create reusable automation components and common libraries.

• Propel framework enhancements and modernization efforts.

• Oversee automation development for large-scale projects and strategic initiatives.

• Evaluate automation requirements and pinpoint high-value automation prospects.

• Create and maintain automated test suites for essential business workflows.

• Offer technical leadership and mentoring to QA team members.

• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical training.

• Guide teams on automation design patterns, framework development, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation is preferred.

• A 4-year bachelor's degree is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of the specified educational requirements.

• Proficiency in UI testing, API testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks, test architecture, CI/CD integration, automated quality validation, and testing methodologies.

• A detail-oriented mindset.

• Experience with end-user testing and quality control (QC).
