
QA Automation Engineer – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Developing a comprehensive testing framework that encompasses unit, integration, system, regression, UAT, and performance testing specifically designed for ServiceNow customizations;
• Working collaboratively with the project team to grasp application requirements, formulate test cases, and guarantee extensive test coverage;
• Engaging with business stakeholders, developers, and end-user representatives to ensure that test scenarios accurately represent real-world usage across various regions, roles, and types of support requests;
• Evaluating manual test cases and user stories within Azure DevOps projects;
• Creating and overseeing test cases, test data, and defects in Azure DevOps;
• Involvement in Sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
• A university degree combined with 8 years of relevant IT professional experience;
• A minimum of 5 years in a QA role with a solid understanding of the ServiceNow suite;
• At least 4 years of practical experience with open-source testing tools (Selenium, TestNG/Junit, Cucumber, Appium, etc.);
• A minimum of 2 years of experience using the Azure DevOps platform;
• Extensive experience in API testing using Postman and Rest Assured;
• Experience in automating system integration (mock/stubs) and E2E Tests;
• At least 2 years of mobile automation experience using Appium and cloud platforms like BrowserStack / LambdaTest;
• Strong knowledge of Rest API, including practical experience with REST API methods and operations, as well as data serialization using JSON libraries;
• Experience implementing CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Git Actions;
• Familiarity with both automated and manual testing, understanding the rationale and methodology for integrating both testing types;
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python;
• Exceptional command of the English language.
