QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold a scalable automation framework that facilitates continuous integration.

• Utilize AI and agentic workflows to significantly minimize manual workloads by automating the creation of intricate test scripts.

• Deploy CI/CD tools and AI-driven agents to execute autonomous browser automation and exploratory testing.

• Proactively discover new avenues to apply AI for predictive defect analysis and optimizing the test suite.

• Engage in a centralized Automation Engineering Jira board to select and prioritize repetitive tasks recognized by the broader QA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in software quality assurance, particularly focused on automation utilizing tools such as Playwright.

• Technical expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript along with the development of custom CLI tools for automation.

• Practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or analogous frameworks for creating AI-driven agents.

• Proficiency in CI/CD integration, especially with GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with claude code (the primary tool for maintenance and development).

• Demonstrated manual QA experience with a 'QA mindset' to ensure that automation is implemented with a thorough understanding of the product.

• Strong communication abilities to mentor and empower other QA engineers in the use of AI-driven automation.
