Python Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain Python-based microservices within a distributed framework.

• Design and construct scalable backend services prioritizing performance and reliability.

• Integrate third-party APIs and external services into current systems.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to introduce new features and enhancements.

• Utilize AWS services (e.g., Lambda, cloud infrastructure) to develop and deploy applications.

• Assist in deployments and system operations through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).

• Participate in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within production environments.

• Aid in enhancing system performance and managing increased system load.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development using Python.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Practical experience with FastAPI or Django.

• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, cloud services).

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab).

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs.

• Comprehension of the fundamentals of scalable and distributed systems.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills and capability to thrive in a remote setting.

• Background in fintech, payments, trading platforms, or high-volume systems.

• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, message queues, etc.).

• Experience with high-load or high-throughput systems.
