This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquires materials, components, equipment, and services at the most competitive prices, ensuring quality, reliability of sources, and urgency requirements while adhering to approved procedures.
• Regularly assesses project demands; modifies part and supplier settings to align with evolving demand and supply needs.
• Implements pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, expedites, and new orders at minimal cost as necessary.
• Chooses suppliers from the Approved Vendor List, verifies pricing and delivery, and issues or modifies purchase orders promptly.
• Collaborates with suppliers to obtain order details, acknowledgments, and updates on order/shipping status.
• Consistently embodies Allbridge’s core values in daily interactions by treating all customers, both internal and external, with professionalism, honesty, and respect.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for position duties, striving to achieve results for customers that set high standards, credibility, and quality performance.
• Performs additional miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager.
• At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Materials Planning.
• Significant experience with other detail-oriented ERP systems may be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma required.
• Responsible for placing and tracking orders to ensure timely material receipt.
• Aims to minimize excess inventory.
• Works with Accounting and Warehouse to resolve issues with invoices and receiving.
• Adheres to purchasing processes and work instructions.
• Demonstrates decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Engages in systems analysis.
• Exhibits strong communication skills.
