Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily procurement of parts and supplies that assist the sales, project management, and customer support teams.

• Capable of soliciting and assessing bids, as well as negotiating prices and terms.

• Evaluate received quotations, select or suggest suppliers for order placement, and coordinate delivery schedules.

• Generate purchase orders from authorized purchase requisitions using ERP systems. Dispatch purchase orders to vendors and monitor order status.

• Determine the most efficient methods to deliver orders to their final destinations.

• Lead special initiatives aimed at enhancing the material process, including auctions, recycling, and the sale of surplus or outdated inventory.

• Support proposal efforts by reaching out to vendors for pricing information.

• Manage inventory levels, monitor available stock, and assess lead times.

• Execute additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by their supervisor or manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in a purchasing role.

• Proficient in computer usage, particularly with Excel and Word (preferably with advanced or certified Excel skills).

• Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities (both verbal and written), with a knack for collaborating effectively with internal and external suppliers and customers.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork; a proactive attitude focused on delivering superior service. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capability to perform well under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated individual and quick learner.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized and capable of working independently with little oversight.
