Publishing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end Production delivery for designated vertical(s), ensuring the team possesses sufficient capacity to fulfill business, SEO, and operational requirements.

• Serve as the main Production contact for SEO, Editorial, business development, and other stakeholders within the assigned verticals.

• Function as a subject-matter expert in WordPress and related CMS tools, executing complex modifications as necessary.

• Directly manage a team of Associates and Senior Associates, providing clear guidance, prioritization, and ongoing performance evaluations.

• Develop and enhance monetization strategies for the assigned verticals in close collaboration with revenue operations and monetization teams.

• Act as the final checkpoint before publication, fully accountable for ensuring content is devoid of errors regarding formatting, CMS configuration, SEO, monetization, and page structure.

• Maintain and oversee production reporting for the assigned verticals, tracking output, revisions, turnaround times, and quality metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in directly managing a team, including workload planning, performance management, coaching, and holding team members accountable for delivery and quality.

• Strong background in content production, publishing, or digital operations within a high-volume setting.

• Advanced expertise in CMS (minimum of 5+ years) with platforms such as WordPress, AEM, or similar, along with a clear understanding of CMS functionality and navigation through its various components.

• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with proven experience collaborating with senior SEO, Editorial, or business leaders.

• Strong business acumen with an understanding of how content influences revenue and performance.

• Proven track record of troubleshooting complex publishing or CMS challenges and offering practical, scalable solutions.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for junior team members and confidently engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
