Public Training, LMS Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Administers the Learning Management System (LMS), which includes daily oversight, user assignment and registration, along with routine maintenance.

• Configures and optimizes LMS settings, such as establishing and updating integrations, sub-portals, teams, permissions, and associated system operations to meet training and organizational objectives.

• Oversees daily operations and logistics for the Public Training team, including scheduling, record-keeping, attendance tracking, vendor coordination, and related activities.

• Updates system workflows, maintains comprehensive documentation, and suggests enhancements to improve training experiences.

• Develops schedules for timely updates to training and ensures archival of content as needed.

• Monitors, analyzes, and reports on training metrics, including attendance, completion rates, and usage, while generating both customized and scheduled reports for stakeholders.

• Delivers exceptional technical support to a diverse audience and resolves user issues with professionalism and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

• Plans for training capacity by routinely assessing LMS usage, conducting cost analyses, reviewing public training staffing schedules, and aligning these factors with Trevor’s objectives and the needs of our audiences.

• Collaborates with the Public Training team and other teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, accessible trainings that align with both immediate and long-term goals.

• Enhances user experiences across training systems, including the LMS, by integrating partnership branding as applicable.

• Safeguards Trevor and our users by adhering to LMS and online best practices to ensure security.

• Exhibits a keen willingness to learn, share knowledge appropriately, and pursue continuous improvement.

• Demonstrates effective planning and problem-solving abilities, including multitasking and thriving under tight deadlines.

• Engages, communicates, and collaborates effectively with colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in learning management system (LMS) administration.

• Over 3 years of experience in managing and enhancing the learning experiences of LMS users.

• More than 3 years of experience in daily administration and scheduling for training teams.

• Proven ability to schedule, maintain, support, track, analyze, and report on learning experiences.

• Demonstrated history as a detail-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative strategist.

• Solid understanding of LGBTQ+ young individuals, including the unique challenges they encounter.

• Strong dedication to staff wellness, employing a trauma-informed approach to recognize and address the specific challenges and stressors faced by volunteers in crisis intervention roles.

• High resilience and adaptability in managing crisis situations, maintaining composure, and providing effective support during challenging times.

• A quiet, private workspace equipped with high-speed dedicated broadband internet access (minimum 10Mb down/5Mb up).
