This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee high-touch SLED accounts, acting as the primary advocate for clients and ensuring their success.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration among various teams – including Product, Engineering, Security, and Legal – to guarantee the effective onboarding, delivery, and implementation of Vanta at significant accounts.
• Function as a trusted advisor for customers, aligning Vanta’s strategic roadmap and security results with mission requirements, industry developments, and executive priorities.
• Collaborate with Public Sector Account Managers to jointly develop and implement multi-year account strategies, ensuring clearly defined adoption milestones, growth trajectories, and business outcomes that deliver value.
• Conduct onsite and virtual Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) at both pre- and executive levels to reinforce value delivery and maintain strategic alignment.
• Proactively recognize churn risks and effectively mitigate them while uncovering expansion opportunities using data insights and customer health metrics.
• Represent the customer perspective on a broader scale, influencing Vanta’s product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and support model to enhance service for public sector enterprises.
• Be prepared to travel at least once a month for onsite client engagements, executive alignments, and strategic planning sessions.
• 8+ years of experience in customer success, including prior roles as a Public Sector Customer Success Manager supporting large, complex organizations with IT modernization, delivery, and adoption.
• Proven track record in managing high-value SLED and enterprise accounts, resulting in customer satisfaction, renewals, and account expansion.
• In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement and compliance frameworks, including GovRAMP, NIST, CJIS, and related security and privacy standards.
• Strong executive presence and communication capabilities, with experience engaging senior public officials, agency executives, and program leaders to align security, technology, and mission objectives.
• Proficiency in SaaS and GRC solutions, serving as a trusted advisor on risk management, industry best practices, and emerging regulatory trends.
• Ability to quantify and articulate business value through ROI analysis, performance metrics, and outcome-based reporting that aligns with mission and compliance goals.
• Experience driving customer success through transformation and modernization initiatives, assisting public sector customers in adopting cloud and security technologies to achieve measurable impact.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, closely collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver customized success plans and encourage customer growth.
• Demonstrated skill in translating technical and regulatory concepts into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and storytelling abilities, utilizing data-driven insights to proactively identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Experience advocating for the voice of public sector customers, influencing product roadmaps, and participating in customer advisory boards or industry working groups.
• Willingness to leverage AI to enhance skills and improve work efficiency, showing curiosity, a commitment to learning, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.
