Public Cloud Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted consultant, transforming business objectives into cloud architecture.

• Collaborate closely with client executives, enterprise architects, security and compliance teams, and partners.

• Develop strategies and migration roadmaps, ensuring that architecture is implemented on schedule and within financial constraints.

• Guide other architects and contribute to the development of reusable reference architectures.

• Design landing zones, networking, identity, data, and application patterns, while leading implementation teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions, with at least 4 years concentrating on public cloud architecture.

• Extensive hands-on experience in solutions architecture with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proven history of leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

• Strong proficiency in core cloud domains: compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, and cloud security and governance.

• Solid understanding of cloud-native and modernization patterns, including containers and Kubernetes, microservices, serverless, and application refactoring.

• Practical experience in designing and delivering AI and agentic AI solutions in the cloud.

• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible), as well as CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.

• Demonstrated consulting abilities, including conducting client workshops, developing business cases, and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.

• At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification.
