Public Affairs Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute Milence’s strategy for public affairs and government relations at both EU and national levels.

• Monitor and evaluate policy, regulatory, and legislative changes pertinent to e-mobility, energy, transport, and infrastructure.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with policymakers, public authorities, industry organizations, and strategic partners.

• Represent Milence in various external forums, working groups, and industry associations.

• Facilitate market entry and growth by providing guidance on public policy and stakeholder engagement strategies.

• Create briefings, position papers, and key messages for both internal and external audiences.

• Collaborate closely with Communications, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent messaging and advocacy.

• Serve as a trusted internal advisor on public affairs matters throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy-related roles, preferably in infrastructure, energy, transport, or mobility.

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, European Studies, International Relations, EU or public law, or related fields.

• In-depth understanding of EU and/or national policy processes and regulatory frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with public stakeholders and high-level decision-makers.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a significant advantage.

• Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and rapidly scaling organization.

• Strong collaborative skills and proficiency in navigating complex stakeholder environments.
