Public Affairs Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead interactions with local executive leaders, city council members, and grassroots community organizations to promote regional public policy goals.

• Serve as a representative for Flock at city council meetings, public hearings, and community forums, providing testimony and formal presentations.

• Develop and maintain regional coalitions with key community groups and third-party partners to advocate for public safety policy initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal sales and communications teams to ensure public affairs strategies align with regional growth objectives and customer support.

• Create structured communication processes with external regional stakeholders to facilitate ongoing dialogue about public safety results.

• Direct experience in engaging with local executive officials, city managers, or council members in governmental, campaign, or public advocacy contexts.

• Proven ability to clearly convey complex public policy and technology concepts through formal testimony, presentations, and community dialogues.

• In-depth understanding of regional municipal politics, city council dynamics, and the process of building bipartisan coalitions.

• Established track record of building and maintaining relationships with influential community organizations and grassroots stakeholders.

• Background in public policy, business, or other relevant professional fields.
