PT Financial Coach – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate 30-minute one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members.

• Discuss financial subjects such as budgeting, debt reduction, credit management, retirement planning, investment education, insurance basics, and home buying.

• Offer impartial financial education; no financial products will be marketed or promoted.

• Customize each session according to the member's objectives, circumstances, and starting point.

• Briefly record the topics addressed after each session.

• Ensure member confidentiality is upheld at all times.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education.

• Knowledge of financial systems in Colombia.

• Proficient understanding of budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home buying.

• Capability to convey financial concepts in clear, comprehensible language.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.

• Moderate technical skills, including independent computer use, basic software applications, and a CRM system for documenting sessions.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for conducting sessions.

• Certification in financial coaching or planning (CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar) is preferred.

• Experience coaching individuals from diverse populations and financial backgrounds is a plus.

• Submission of a brief cover letter, resume or CV, and any relevant certifications is required.

• Candidates may be required to undergo a drug test and standard background check.
