This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver psychological assessment and treatment services across various programs, such as Mood, Anxiety, Trauma, and Addiction.
• Facilitate group psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, create psychotherapy groups, and produce psycho-educational resources.
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary clinical meetings.
• Coordinate with the patient’s referral sources and other external organizations (DND, VAC, WSIB, etc.) related to the patient, to provide clinical updates and support aftercare as necessary.
• Attend meetings with family members and/or the patient’s close contacts as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate and communicate with fellow team members to ensure alignment in program philosophy and treatment practices.
• Prepare psychological reports based on psychometric evaluations that encompass clinical findings, diagnostic insights, treatment implications, and recommendations.
• Lead interpersonal therapy and psycho-dynamic group sessions.
• PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program; candidates with a Master's degree and full authorization to practice in Ontario will also be considered.
• Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and licensed to practice in Ontario [will consider supervised practice credentials for the right candidate].
• Clinical experience with adults in anxiety and mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions; specialized expertise in a clinical area.
• Experience in quality improvement and leadership/management roles.
• Training, education, and experience across a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• In-depth knowledge of program development, administrative principles, and evaluation techniques.
• Proven skills and experience in assessment, treatment, and research.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Successful track record in leading psycho-dynamic groups.
• Capability to spearhead strategic operational changes, coupled with critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Ability to foster productive working relationships with team members.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Recognition of the importance of measurement-based care in guiding clinical decisions; experience is an asset.
• Highly developed organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in technology, including MS Office.
