Psychiatry - PMHNP or PA with CA License, Fully Virtual, Bilingual a Plus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations through telehealth for both new and returning patients.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based methodologies.

• Prescribe and oversee psychotropic medications within the limits of licensure and in line with TeleMed2U protocols.

• Deliver ongoing psychiatric care, which includes routine follow-ups, medication management, and appropriate crisis intervention.

• Collaborate with supervising physicians, therapists, case managers, and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.

• Maintain prompt and precise clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Track patient progress, assess treatment effectiveness, and modify plans as necessary.

• Engage in peer review, case discussions, and clinical team meetings.

• Stay updated with continuing education, licensing obligations, and professional standards in psychiatric care.

• Comply with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards during all patient interactions.

• Support TeleMed2U’s mission to enhance access to quality behavioral health care through innovative telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of psychiatric experience is preferred.

• A California license is required, with the willingness to obtain a Texas license.

• Primary treatment areas include ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder.

• Skilled in administrative tasks, particularly in signing off on progress notes.

• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, accommodating 37 patient-facing hours per week based on the time zone of the patients.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Three professional references are required.

• Start date contingent upon completion of credentialing and background checks.
