Psychiatrist – Virtual, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive management of mental health medications through a 60-minute intake session and ongoing follow-up visits.

• Perform mental health risk evaluations, psychiatric medication assessments, and ongoing medication management.

• Develop treatment plans centered around the patient, document treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering evidence-based medication treatments that adhere to clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care).

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified MD or DO specializing in psychiatry.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in South Carolina; additional licenses in other states are a plus.

• Strong preference will be given to clinicians with an active DEA license.

• Must have office space with the capability to see clients.

• Ability to provide care for patients across a wide spectrum of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels; preference for providers offering in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
