Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver fully remote outpatient psychiatric services.

• Address lower to moderate acuity cases, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and PTSD.

• Provide care to patients of all ages, including children and adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals.

• Perform 60-minute intake assessments and 30-minute follow-up appointments.

• Offer care without responsibilities for inpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, or crisis intervention.

• Leverage an internal referral system to connect with therapists.

• Maintain control over your schedule, weekly availability, session duration, and patient demographics.

• Make clinical decisions independently, free from pressures to reduce visit times or increase patient volume.

• Collaborate within Talkiatry’s clinician-led virtual psychiatry team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist (MD/DO).

• Hold an active, unrestricted medical license.

• Demonstrated interest in outpatient, fully telepsychiatry-focused care.

• Willingness to learn efficient clinical technology.

• Possess strong clinical judgment.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• A collaborative approach to patient care.

• Child and adolescent patients are to be treated exclusively by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. after receiving a job offer and completing Form I-9.
