Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Fully remote outpatient psychiatry position.

• Focus on lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD).

• Serve a diverse patient demographic, including children & adolescents (treated exclusively by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists), adults, and geriatric clients.

• Standardized session durations (60-minute initial consultations, 30-minute follow-up appointments).

• No involvement in inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization services, or crisis intervention.

• Access to an in-house referral network for therapists.

• Comprehensive operational support encompassing scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

• Flexibility in managing your schedule and weekly availability.

• Session lengths adhere to established clinical standards.

• Patient demographics matched to personal criteria and preferences.

• Autonomy in clinical decision-making without pressure to reduce visit durations or increase patient volume.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists (MD/DO).

• Must possess an active, unrestricted medical license (support for multi-state licensing is available).

• Enthusiasm for outpatient, entirely telepsychiatry-based care.

• Willingness to learn and utilize streamlined clinical technology.

• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
