
Psychiatrist β 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Provide comprehensive management of mental health medications through a 60-minute intake session followed by regular follow-up appointments.
β’ Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and ongoing medication treatment.
β’ Develop patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.
β’ Demonstrate experience and dedication to offering evidence-based medication treatment that adheres to clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care).
β’ Must hold a board certification as an MD or DO in psychiatry.
β’ Possess an unrestricted state license in Virginia; additional state licenses are a plus.
β’ Strong preference for clinicians who currently hold an active DEA license.
β’ Required to have office space available for seeing clients.
β’ Capability to provide care to patients across a full spectrum of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels; preference for providers who can offer in-person services.
β’ Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
