Psychiatrist – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session and consistent follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and ongoing medication treatment.

• Develop patient-focused treatment plans, document treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Possess experience and dedication to delivering evidence-based medication treatment that adheres to clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care).

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certified MD or DO in psychiatry.

• Unrestricted state license in Mississippi; additional licenses in other states are advantageous.

• Strong preference for clinicians holding an active DEA license.

• Must have office space available for client consultations.

• Capability to provide care to patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Full-time resident of the United States.
