Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Provide person-centered care utilizing evidence-based methodologies

• Oversee caseload and meet psychiatric consultation requirements for skilled nursing facilities

• Conduct assessments, diagnostics, and treatment services

• Offer psychoeducation and medication guidance to patients and/or their families

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams within the facility

• Ensure completion of timely documentation (within 24 hours)

• Maintain compliance with state regulations in skilled nursing facility environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a licensed PMHNP in the state of Maine.

• Preferred experience in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, residential care, geriatric services, and outpatient psychiatric settings.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health care to adult populations.

• Proficient in using EHRs and clinical technology

• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach
