Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP-BC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic interviews to understand patient needs and identify suitable medication management strategies.

• Deliver exceptional short-term and long-term psychiatric care to patients of all ages through telehealth services.

• Collaborate and communicate with physicians, care managers, and other interdisciplinary team members as necessary to ensure continuity of care.

• Work closely with the care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral healthcare support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification (PMHNP-BC) and an unrestricted license in the State of New York.

• Current DEA registration in the State of New York.

• Candidates must be residents of New York State.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in prescribing psychiatric medications as a PMHNP-BC.

• Direct clinical experience in treating patients of all ages, with a preference for experience with children aged 5 and older.

• Preferred experience in conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for a wide range of behavioral health conditions via telehealth.

• Strong capacity to address member needs with empathy, compassion, and clinical excellence.
