Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Fully remote position focused on outpatient psychiatric care.

• Serving lower to moderate acuity populations, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.

• Standard session durations of 60 minutes for intakes and 30 minutes for follow-up appointments.

• No requirement for inpatient care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis intervention.

• Operates within an integrated care model, featuring an in-house referral network comprising psychiatrists and therapists.

• Comprehensive operational support provided, encompassing scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

• Flexibility to manage your schedule and weekly availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) credential.

• Possession of an active, unrestricted license with authority for autonomous practice.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.

• Proven experience in providing outpatient psychiatric care, which includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.

• Skills in psychoeducation and providing supportive therapy.

• Comfort and proficiency in practicing within a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model.

• Ability to utilize electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation of care.

• Strong clinical judgment coupled with effective communication and a team-oriented approach.

• Dedication to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical development.
