Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Fully remote outpatient psychiatric care.

• Treating lower to moderate acuity populations including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.

• Standardized session durations consisting of 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-ups.

• No involvement in inpatient care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis intervention.

• Utilize an integrated care model featuring an in-house referral network for psychiatrists and therapists.

• Comprehensive operational support encompassing scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

• Flexibility to manage your schedule and weekly availability.

• Sessions adhere to established clinical standards.

• Patient demographics tailored to individual preferences and criteria.

• Clinical decision-making is supported without the pressure to reduce visit durations or increase patient volume.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Possess an active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.

• Proven experience in delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.

• Skills in psychoeducation and supportive therapy.

• Comfort and proficiency in practicing within a fully remote telepsychiatry model.

• Ability to use electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation of care.

• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
