Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Fully remote outpatient psychiatric care services.

• Catering to lower to moderate acuity populations, such as those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD.

• Standardized session durations include 60-minute initial intakes and 30-minute follow-up appointments.

• No responsibilities for inpatient care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis management.

• Operates within an integrated care model featuring an in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists.

• Comprehensive operational support covering scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

• Flexibility in managing your schedule and weekly availability.

• Sessions structured according to established clinical standards.

• Patient demographics balanced based on individual criteria and preferences.

• Freedom in clinical decision-making without the pressure to reduce visit durations or increase patient volume.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Possess an active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.

• At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.

• Demonstrated experience in providing outpatient psychiatric care, which includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.

• Skills in psychoeducation and supportive therapy.

• Comfort and proficiency in practicing within a fully remote telepsychiatry model.

• Strong ability to utilize electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation of care.

• Excellent clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Dedication to evidence-based practices and ongoing clinical development.
