Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Fully remote outpatient psychiatric care.

• Serving lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD).

• Standardized session lengths (60-minute initial assessments, 30-minute follow-up sessions).

• No inpatient services, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis intervention required.

• Integrated care model featuring an in-house network for referrals to psychiatrists and therapists.

• Comprehensive operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

• Flexibility to manage your schedule and weekly availability.

• Sessions structured to align with established clinical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Active, unrestricted license with the authority for autonomous practice.

• At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.

• Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.

• Proficient in psychoeducation and supportive therapy.

• Comfort working in a fully remote, telepsychiatry model.

• Skilled in using electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation of care.

• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Dedication to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical development.
