Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Fully remote outpatient psychiatric services.

• Focus on lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD).

• Standardized session durations (60-minute initial consultations, 30-minute follow-up sessions).

• No involvement in inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis intervention.

• Utilization of an integrated care model with an in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists.

• Comprehensive operational support encompassing scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

• Flexibility in managing your schedule and weekly availability.

• Adherence to established clinical standards in session structure.

• Patient demographic tailored to individual preferences and criteria.

• Autonomy in clinical decision-making, free from pressure to reduce session lengths or increase patient volume.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Active, unrestricted license with the authority for autonomous practice.

• At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.

• Experience in providing outpatient psychiatric care, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.

• Ability to deliver psychoeducation and supportive therapy.

• Comfort in practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry environment.

• Proficient in using electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation of care.

• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Dedication to evidence-based practices and ongoing clinical development.
